Imagik has just received PMA approval for our 15" LED In-Arm monitor on B747 and B777 aircraft.
This high feature set monitor that includes touch screen, USB charging port, Picture in Picture for moving map, ambient light sensor and external AV input from personal video players allows an airline to offer a differentiated feature set in premium classes. This unit has been purchased by both British Airways and TAM, and will soon be certified on an Airbus A330. Ben Clarke of British Airways said: " We are very pleased with the monitor supplied by Imagik. initial passenger feedback has shown a significant point gain in IFE customer satisfaction as a result of this new high feature set monitor."
Much interest continues to be shown in our Projector and CRT replacement products as well as our new range of LED backlight monitors that are 30% lighter than the legacy monitors they replace. In addition to the valuable weight savings (Tons when taken across a large fleet) they also support USB charging, Picture in Picture and remote video input.
Imagik has recently received an STC for our installation on B757 Aircraft, and as a result have PMA approval for our 17”Monitors, Brackets, Shrouds on four different variants of this aircraft. As well as giving a significant improvement in the passenger viewing experience, the installation saved over 200 Lbs per aircraft. This joins our B767 STC that gives PMA on our 37”,32”, 17”, 15” and 10” bulkhead and ceiling mounted monitors.
