What to Expect From the 2019 Hamburg Aircraft Interiors Expo

In flight entertainment providers will debut their new products, along with other companies showing off their new lines of interior design for comfort and convenience.

Between April 2 and April 4 of 2019 in Hamburg, Germany, the Aircraft Interiors Expo event will be something worth visiting. Here’s why.

The Conference

Not only will you be able to go and experience revolutionary breakthroughs in passenger experience firsthand but you can attend a conference with the leading minds. Speakers will discuss what the future of passenger experience holds, the projects they are working on now, and what is needed for advanced change.


Visitors from all over the world who are responsible for purchasing interiors and equipment to improve passenger experience attend the Aircraft Interiors Expo event. Upon your visit, you will be able to experience all of the new innovations in cabin interiors, in flight entertainment technology, connectivity, and passenger services. Over 500 of the leading aircraft interior companies and suppliers will be showcasing their innovations and you have the opportunity to take part in it.

What You’ll Experience

The Aircraft Interiors Expo is part of Passenger Experience week and will have exciting events and features throughout. There will be a networking event in which you can mingle with the leading experts in the aircraft interior industry, including the speakers from the conference. The Expo is also co-located with two other events: the World Travel Catering and Onboard Services and Passenger Technology Solutions. There will also be an award show where companies and individuals will be recognized for their work and given a Crystal Cabin Award. You can also attend the CabinSpace LIVE event where you can listen to industry experts discuss the future of IFE systems and more.

Flight is becoming a more traditional and accessible mode of travel for the population and in 2013, passenger numbers exceeded the three billion mark for the first time ever with 3.1 billion passengers. The answer to how that number can continue to rise is at next year’s expo.
